Cambridgeshire & Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust is inviting enthusiastic and dedicated Old Age Psychiatrists to apply for a number of posts in our community-based services to provide excellent care to the population.

Five posts are available across Peterborough, Ely, and Fenland, including a post in the Peterborough-based Crisis Team for older people.

The Community facing services in CPFT for older people are managed within the Older People and Adult Community Directorate, OPAC. Our integrated model of care brings together staff delivering physical healthcare and mental healthcare for the elderly.

A key focus for the delivery of community care are integrated, multidisciplinary, multi-agency neighbourhood teams (NTs).

Main Duties of the Job

Clinical:

To lead the multidisciplinary team in providing excellent psychiatric care.

To provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plans.

To lead weekly MDT meetings and ensure prompt reviews of acutely unwell patients.

To work closely with the CRHTT OP, community teams, and liaison services as patients move between these teams.
