Learning and Talent Development at LEK

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Learning & Talent Development Senior Manager (L&D Sr. Europe's formal learning experiences and manages the L&D team. Our Learning and Talent Development team supports all our people to continue to learn, grow, and thrive at work by creating a learning ecosystem that integrates feedback, training, learning experiences, and future development planning. We offer a comprehensive learning and development program by incorporating new technologies, driving continuous improvement of our existing curriculum and learning experiences, as well as developing new training programs as we continue to evolve our offering.

The Role

The L&D Sr. M works closely with senior leadership to set the direction for employee development at LEK.

Development of the European Learning Programme

  • Owning and managing the full learning experience across Europe
  • Conducting training needs analysis (TNA) at all levels
  • Ensuring on-time delivery of the programs, enabling high participation and continuous improvement
  • Developing new training experiences based on future talent and business needs
  • Conducting rigorous evaluation of the full offering to ensure excellence and drive continuous improvements
  • Defining and overseeing the delivery of new projects to improve learning effectiveness on an ongoing basis
  • When required, taking on a hands-on approach to design and develop content that will support us in achieving our ambitious goal

Stakeholder Management

  • Managing the L&D Steering Committee
  • Developing and overseeing a significant learning budget
  • Collaborating with sectors (i.e., consulting business units) and functional groups to understand industry and client needs and pivot learning and training approaches as necessary
  • Managing suppliers, including value-for-money analysis and content co-design

People Management

  • Guiding L&D team members in managing the direction of the curriculum through planning, content design, teaching format, timing by level, instructional methods, etc.
  • Working with L&D team members to ideate and deliver train-the-trainer support to enable impactful learning experiences across different formats (e.g., in-person, virtual)

Essential Requirements

  • Significant experience in adult learning, instructional design, and training experience, preferably in a professional services environment
  • Experience leading and developing direct reports, particularly managing a distributed team
  • Strong commercial acumen and navigating business dynamics
  • Ability to plan and manage multiple competing priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrable experience in developing learning and competency frameworks plus implementing a learning ecosystem
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management; able to adapt to different audiences/styles/cultures
  • Ability to present ideas to senior stakeholders using visual tools such as PowerPoint
  • Great organizational skills – able to organize a varied workload, prioritize effectively, and keep stakeholders updated as appropriate
  • Ability to travel to other offices
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Fluent English (C2)
