Job Description

Themis Recruit is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate/Salaried Partner to join our esteemed team as a Commercial Litigation Specialist. This is an exceptional opportunity to build a successful career in litigation within a supportive and inclusive team.

About the Role

As a Senior Associate/Salaried Partner in our Commercial Litigation team, you will be involved in a diverse range of dispute resolution matters, including:

  • Handling claims such as contract disputes, director and shareholder disputes, breach of covenant and warranty claims, professional negligence, banking, defamation, fraud, procurement, and partnership issues for a varied clientele from the UK and overseas.
  • Independent management of cases and overseeing junior colleagues.
  • Active participation in business development activities, including building and maintaining a portfolio of commercial clients and contacts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactive and flexible team player capable of prioritising multiple projects effectively.
  • General commercial litigation experience; prior professional negligence work is a plus.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic about delivering high-quality service to clients, with a proactive and forward-planning approach.
  • Excellent academic achievement.
  • Initiative, pragmatism, common sense, and strong client skills.
