Independent Living Adviser

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Independent Living Adviser to join our team at The Guinness Partnership. As an Independent Living Adviser, you will play a vital role in supporting our customers to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide intensive housing management services to our customers, including developing successful customer relationships and assisting with tenancy management matters.
  • Assist customers in accessing housing benefit assistance and financial advice to pay rent/service charges.
  • Complete referrals for assistive technology, aids, and adaptations to support customer independence.
  • Carry out periodic site inspections and tests to ensure the scheme is fully operational and Health and Safety compliant.
  • Monitor the quality of contractors, such as window cleaning and grounds maintenance.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience of working in an advisory role supporting the elderly and vulnerable.
  • Proven ability to foster a spirit of co-operation and a sense of independence within this group.
  • Demonstrable commitment to Equality and Diversity.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle.
