About the Role

AWE plc is seeking a highly skilled Business Resilience and Continuity of Operations Specialist to join our Business Resilience Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of quality resilience and Continuity of Operations activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business areas and stakeholders to promote and embed Resilience and Continuity of Operations practices.
  • Monitor proposals and plans to carry out major work operations, ensuring de-confliction and effective resource allocation.
  • Identify and advise on the need for further deconfliction activities and Resilience Planning in response to emerging risks.
  • Support business areas and stakeholders in thinking proactively about resilience rather than reactively.
  • Develop and maintain reports, documentation, standards, procedures, guidance, and work instructions.
Requirements
  • High attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
  • Experience or good understanding of Business Continuity/Resilience and Operational Control in a highly regulated industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage priorities and objectives on time and to high quality with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable working with stakeholders of all levels and able to handle confidential and sensitive matters professionally.

Security Clearance

You will need to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role, which will be funded by AWE. You must be a British Citizen who has been resident in the UK for the past 5 years to apply for SC clearance and 10 years for DV.
