As a key member of our engineering team, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our platform and ensuring its success. We're looking for a seasoned technical leader to join our Platform/SRE team and IT team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create a strategic plan for the platform team, collaborating with stakeholders across the business in engineering and product.
  • Own the platform and tools that enable and amplify the rest of engineering, including infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, observability tooling, and testing platforms.
  • Lead the delivery and practices of the platform team, ensuring its impact on the wider engineering team.
  • Manage security and compliance needs from an engineering perspective.
  • Oversee IT systems, including office, hardware, SaaS, and server infrastructure, as well as employee onboarding and offboarding.
  • Manage a team of senior engineers, supporting their career growth and performance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of management experience with prior hands-on software development experience.
  • Prior experience in platform, security, tooling, infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE.
  • Experience working across a product engineering organization to build a platform that supports delivery.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and documentation.
  • Passion for coaching and mentoring people.
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable challenging and supporting upwards, downwards, and with peers.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Learning and growth mindset.
