We are looking for an experienced Stock Controller to manage our inventory levels and ensure efficient stock movement across our warehouse in Heywood. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory levels, performing regular stock audits and cycle counts, and ensuring all stock movements are accurately recorded.
Responsibilities:- Inventory Monitoring: Continuously monitor and update inventory levels to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Stock Audits & Cycle Counts: Conduct regular physical counts of inventory to reconcile actual stock levels with system-generated reports.
- Stock Movement & Record Keeping: Accurately record all stock movements (inbound and outbound) in the inventory management system.
- Stock Replenishment & Forecasting: Collaborate with sales and purchasing departments to forecast demand, manage stock levels, and prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
- Warehouse Coordination: Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure smooth and efficient order fulfillment processes.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations within the warehouse, particularly when handling inventory.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar inventory management role, with strong knowledge of inventory management systems and software. The estimated salary for this role is around £28,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
