Ametek Airtechnology Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the Internal Audit Programme: Develop and implement an effective internal audit programme to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including UK Reg Part 21G, UK Reg Part 145, EASA Part 21G, EASA Part 145, FAA, and AS9100.
- Lead Problem-Solving Teams: Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and resolving quality issues, ensuring effective root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions are implemented in line with AAG standard processes.
- Support Regulatory Training: Provide training and support to employees on regulatory requirements, including Human Factors, to ensure compliance and quality standards are met.
- Maintain the Business Management System: Ensure the company's Business Management System (BMS) is up-to-date, compliant, and effective in managing quality and regulatory requirements.
- Support Closeout of Actions: Support the closeout of actions raised during customer, regulatory, and certification body audits, and address areas for improvement identified.
- Manage Document Change Control: Oversee the document change control process, including all processes, procedures, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
- Support Regulatory Requirements: Coordinate and monitor regulatory requirements and changes affecting the organization and its approvals.
- Ensure Customer Specifications: Ensure customer specifications are incorporated into processes and procedures.
- Support Improvement Activities: Participate in improvement activities, including 5S, to drive quality standards across the business.
- Maintain Quality Data: Maintain quality data to support weekly, monthly, and annual Management Reviews.
- Support FAIR Process: Have sufficient knowledge to support the FAIR process to AS9102.
- Monitor and Escalate Quality Issues: Monitor and escalate internal product quality issues, as necessary.
- Education and Qualifications: GCSE or equivalent Grades A to C in Maths and English, Aerospace engineering qualification or closely related, Auditing certification, Business Management System, and Administration.
