Job Title: Estimator - Bespoke Joinery

At Mitchell Maguire Recruitment Ltd, we are seeking an experienced Estimator - Bespoke Joinery to join our team. As an Estimator - Bespoke Joinery, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely estimates for bespoke joinery and shop fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review tender enquiries to determine scope of works and project deadlines
  • Produce first principle cost estimates / BOQs for customer deadlines
  • Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
  • Establish and maintain relationships with contractors and suppliers
  • Work on projects ranging in value from £10k to £300k

Requirements:

  • Must have estimating experience within joinery / bespoke joinery / cabinet maker / bespoke furniture / shopfitting / joinery fit out market sectors
  • Good technical knowledge and understanding of industry processes, materials and costs
  • Highly organised with good attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good team player who also works well individually
