Theatre Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Theatre Practitioner to join our team at County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust. As a Theatre Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care within the perioperative environment.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the monitoring of standards of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Provide expert knowledge of all clinical specialties and act as a role model in direct care needs of patients.
- Participate in audit and monitoring accurate documentation in accordance with Trust policy, NMC, and HPC guidelines.
- Ensure the safe administration of drugs in accordance with Trust Policy, and NMC and HPC guidelines.
- Ensure that all procedures and techniques are carried out in accordance with local competencies and agreed policies and standards.
- Act as patients' advocate in all matters relating to their care, treatment, and welfare.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and safe environment within the operating suite and equipment.
