Automotive Test Engineer Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Test Engineer to join our Research and Development Team at Expleo Engineering UK Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing testing methods and procedures for validation of Infotainment systems.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Develop testing methods and procedures for validation of Infotainment systems
* Ensure vehicle level quality, function, and reliability standards are maintained with changes of Infotainment HW & SW
* Creation of test reports
* Root cause investigation
* Technical support to the production plant
* Management of suppliers

**Background and Skills Required**

* Ideally Degree level qualified
* Knowledge of software programming and software quality assurance
* Experience of software application into vehicle ECUs in the manufacturing environment
* Ability to risk assess software modifications and develop appropriate test plans
* Understand network communications, i.e., CAN, LIN
* Ability to follow system circuit diagrams and identify electrical connections

**Requirements**

* Flexibility to travel
* Valid driving license
