Job Title: Maintenance Operations Manager

Location: East Yorkshire, Hull, Beverley Area

Sector: Food Manufacturing Industry

Hours: Monday to Friday, site works 24 hours per day

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum

About the Role:

This is a key leadership position that requires a multi-skilled professional with strong technical expertise in electrical and mechanical engineering.

  • Prior experience in maintenance management within the food manufacturing sector is highly desirable;
  • Able to manage a team of 10 maintenance engineers and technicians effectively, fostering collaboration and motivation;
  • Familiarity with CMMS software for efficient maintenance activity management;
  • A valid driver's license is required due to site location needs;
  • Experience as an apprentice or training in cost management would be beneficial;
  • BRC and HACCP certification is highly preferred.
Main Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and motivate a high-performing team of maintenance engineers and technicians;
  2. Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency;
  3. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using CMMS software;
  4. Ensure compliance with BRC and HACCP standards.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience;
  • Proven track record in maintenance management or a related field;
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems;
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills;
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
