Job Description

Tradewind Recruitment is proud to present an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and empathetic Supportive Learning Facilitator to join a reputable Primary School in the St. Helen's area.

Role Overview

This long-term position offers a unique chance for someone passionate about supporting students with special educational needs to make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with teachers to adapt learning materials and activities tailored to meet individual student needs.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support, promoting engagement and success in learning.
  • Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive environment that fosters emotional and social development in students.
  • Assist with classroom management, establishing a positive and structured learning space.
Requirements:
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience supporting students with SEN needs is essential.
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to working with children and young people.
  • Dedicated DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new DBS.
