About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Loss Prevention Officer to join our Security and Matchday Safety team at Villa Park. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the security of our main Retail store, ensuring the safety of our customers and staff, and preventing loss and theft.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular security patrols of the Retail store to deter shoplifting and security incidents
  • Act as a visual deterrent to potential shoplifters and security threats
  • Meet and greet customers, providing a professional first impression and excellent customer service
  • Conduct internal investigations into stock loss, fraud, and theft, and complete detailed incident reports
  • Collate evidence to support criminal prosecution and work closely with local police and crime hubs
  • Work collaboratively with store associates, store managers, and other stakeholders to maintain a secure and safe environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar Loss Prevention Officer role
  • Ability to resolve conflict and incidents in a professional manner
  • Hold a SIA Security Guard Licence
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
