About the Job
This role offers a unique opportunity for a Speech and Language Therapist to develop their skills in a leading-edge interdisciplinary in-patient rehabilitation setting (CERU). As a Senior Speech and Language Therapist, you will work closely with experienced band 7 therapists and SLT assistants, receiving on-going supervision and participating in regular conversations with clients addressing highly emotive issues.

You will be responsible for providing specialist speech and language therapy assessments and interventions for clients with acquired communication and swallowing disorders. This will involve assessing and ascribing a level of risk for dysphagic clients, communicating information concerning the assessment and intervention to multidisciplinary teams and other non-professional carers, and participating in audit activities in the team and within multidisciplinary teams. Additionally, you will provide expert advice, consultation, and support for staff working with the client group across various agencies and settings.

As a Clinical Practitioner in Dysphagia Management, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic environment and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care. You will be expected to participate in ongoing professional development, attend regular meetings, and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.

Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is £34,430 - £45,119 per annum, depending on experience.
