Rehabilitation Therapist

The South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Therapist to join their team. This role involves working alongside the trust's specialist Neuro Physiotherapist and other multidisciplinary professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering care in a people-centered environment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously.
This full-time position comes with a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, you will also receive opportunities for professional development and career advancement within the trust.
About the Role
As a Rehabilitation Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating treatment plans for patients with neuro-rehabilitation needs. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and participate in research and audit activities to improve patient outcomes.
The successful candidate will have a minimum Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care or equivalent higher apprenticeship, with significant experience in delivering care in a healthcare setting. They will also possess good written and verbal communication skills, competent IT skills, and the ability to prioritize workload effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and develop individualized care plans for patients with neuro-rehabilitation needs
- Implement and evaluate treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Participate in research and audit activities to improve patient outcomes
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
