Job Title: Transport Supervisor/Warehouse Assistant

Shropshire Green Energy Centre Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transport Supervisor/Warehouse Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the scheduling and maintenance of our fleet of vans to ensure compliance with relevant government regulations.
  • Ensure that vehicles and equipment meet safety protocols and health and safety standards.
  • Assist with loading and unloading vehicles using a forklift truck to minimize manual handling.
  • Maintain stock levels in both the warehouse and yard areas.
  • Keep the warehouse and yard areas clean and tidy.
  • Perform ad hoc jobs to assist the company.

Requirements:

  • Previous industry experience preferred but not essential.
  • Previous Warehouse and Transport Management experience essential.
  • A positive team player with strong communication skills.
  • Confident working both indoors and outdoors.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft, Excel, and Word.
  • Commercial acumen.

Benefits:

Schedule:

  • Day shift.
  • Monday to Friday, 40/45 hours per week.
  • No weekends.

Experience:

  • Warehouse and Transport Supervisory experience essential.

Licence/Certification:

  • Forklift Licence (required).
  • Able to drive up to 7.5t trucks.

Work Location:

  • In person.
