Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Activities Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a range of engaging activities that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents.

The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for working with the elderly and a proven track record of event planning and delivery. A competitive salary of £11.44 per hour is offered, along with a range of benefits, including pension, onsite parking, paid DBS, uniform provided, and 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract).

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver a variety of engaging activities, including events, games, and hobbies, to cater to the interests and needs of our residents.
  • Foster social connections among residents and promote a sense of community within the care home.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a seamless delivery of care services and maintain high standards of resident care.
Requirements
  • A degree in a relevant field, such as social work or arts therapy.
  • Experience working in a care setting, preferably in a senior role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
