We are seeking an experienced and creative Activities Coordinator to join our team at Oulton Manor, a luxury residential care home in Leeds. If you have a passion for delivering engaging activities that promote independence and choice, this could be the perfect role for you.

Job Overview

This is a full-time position that involves planning and facilitating a wide range of activities, including arts and crafts, games, and other social events. You will work closely with residents to understand their interests and preferences, and develop programs that cater to their needs and abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote independence and choice for residents

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A diploma or degree in a relevant field, such as recreation therapy or education
  • Experience in planning and delivering activities for older adults
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
