Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Training Programs: Develop and deliver effective training programs related to substations, ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with industry standards.
  • Assess Training Needs: Identify and assess the training needs of stakeholders, developing strategies to meet those requirements.
  • Deliver High-Quality Training: Deliver high-quality training sessions to various stakeholders, utilizing excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Collaborate with Experts: Collaborate with subject matter experts to enhance training content and maintain records of training activities.
  • Compliance and Safety: Adhere to safety and compliance regulations during training delivery, ensuring a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Significant experience maintaining substation equipment and applying relevant safety precautions is essential.
  • Education: A Level 3 Engineering qualification is required, along with knowledge of National Grid Safety Rules and NSI's.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, strong organisational and record-keeping skills, and the ability to work collaboratively are essential.
  • Additional Requirements: A UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are also required.

This is a full-time, permanent role based in Motherwell, offering a competitive salary of up to £50,000, 25 days annual leave, and a range of benefits, including flexible working and remote working opportunities, pension, share incentive plan, volunteering leave, and recognition schemes.
