About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Sanctuary Group. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality catering service that meets the diverse needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the food and labour budget, ensuring that menus are delivered within budgetary levels
  • Receive and amend orders, food stock locations, and audits, inputting weekly labour entries and daily cash records
  • Implement and maintain the Food Safety Management System, ensuring that the team understands and adheres to it
  • Schedule cleaning and maintenance routines for all food services areas and kitchen equipment, maintaining high sanitation and safety standards
  • Assist with the supervision and development of staff

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a catering environment, with experience of cooking for various groups of people
  • Level 2 Diploma in Catering and Hospitality
  • A valid Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Knowledge of online catering software packages
  • Proven knowledge of health and safety procedures
  • Some experience of setting and managing budgets
  • Friendly and approachable attitude, with the ability to interact with customers, visitors, and colleagues
