We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Research Practitioner to join our Rheumatology Research team at the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Support all aspects of trial organisation from set up to completion as an integrated member of the clinical research team.
- Maintain clinical skills such as venepuncture, blood sample processing, measuring blood pressure and recording 12 lead ECGs.
- Direct patient contact and engagement.
- Flexibility to work in other related areas as demand arises.
This is a part-time position, with the successful candidate expected to work a minimum of 20 hours per week. The role will support rheumatology research, but the post holder will need to be flexible to work in other related areas as demand arises.
Requirements- Registered Nurse and State Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council or Diploma/Degree in relevant area.
- Good Clinical Practice Certification.
- Demonstrates evidence of on-going personal development and the application of this to practice in relevant healthcare setting.
- Awareness of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards and EU directive 2001.
- Knowledge of clinical research practices.
