Key Responsibilities
- Plan and facilitate group activities and workshops that promote social skills, emotional well-being, and independence.
- Collaborate with the SENCO to work towards achieving EHCP outcomes.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Previous experience working as a Youth Worker or in a similar setting, preferably in an educational context.
- Understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and experience working with students with diverse learning needs such as Autism, ADHD, and SEMH.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to support the well-being and development of young people.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies for supporting students with SEN, such as Team Teach, MAPPA, or NAPPI.
- Level 2 Team Teach Training can be provided throughout the summer holidays.
- Relevant qualifications in youth work, social work, education, or a related field.
- An Enhanced Child Only DBS registered to the update service, or be willing to apply for one through Guardian Selection Limited.
Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary of £83-£100 per day, depending on experience. You will also have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of young people.

This role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection. Successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
