We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Financial Assistant to join our team at Unite the union. This is a permanent, part-time position (25 hours per week) based in our Leicester office.
Key Responsibilities- Provide financial administration support to the Region, ensuring accurate and timely financial records.
- Apply Unite's accounting and finance policies to maintain financial probity in the region.
- Collaborate with the Regional Finance Co-ordinator to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Grade 5 – £35,998 per annum full time (pro rata £26,
- Rising to £38,517 per annum full time (pro rata £28, after 12 months in post)
- Permanent contract
- Part-time hours: 25 hours per week
- Monday to Friday working pattern
- 36 days annual leave (pro rata), plus a final salary pension scheme
