Purchase Ledger Role Overview

CMA Recruitment Group is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our client's finance team as a Purchase Ledger professional. This role is ideal for someone with experience in purchase ledger processing and a strong understanding of financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and reconcile supplier statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage and maintain the purchase order system, ensuring seamless integration with other financial systems.
  • Provide analysis and reporting on purchase orders raised and goods received, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Reconcile the sales and purchase ledgers, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and payment runs, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders, providing excellent communication and customer service.
Requirements:
  • Experience in purchase ledger processing up to trial balance.
  • Strong Excel skills, with the ability to analyze and present complex data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
