A leading industrial manufacturer seeks a skilled Facilities and Engineering Maintenance Professional to join their team due to expansion.

Overview

This prominent supplier of goods to several FMCG manufacturers is taking a monopoly position within its respective market. As such, they require an experienced professional who can assist with the maintenance of facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Maintaining facilities both internal and external to the factory, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment;
  2. Covering production breakdowns and ensuring all jobs are completed in a timely fashion while adhering to health and safety regulations;
  3. Responsible for engineering housekeeping in both the workshop and stores areas of the department;
  4. Conducting Continuous Improvement projects to promote development and improve production efficiencies;
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess:

  1. A time-served electrical apprenticeship;
  2. A proven track record of working on industrial plant machinery;
  3. Working knowledge of inverters, variable speed drives, and PLC's;

Salary: £44,000 per annum.
