Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Risk and Assurance Advisor to join our team. As a Risk and Assurance Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Senior Management team to ensure the Organisation has effective arrangements for risk, assurance, business continuity, and incident management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Risk and Continuity Manager and the Head of Safety, Risk and Assurance in the implementation of the Risk and Assurance Frameworks.
- Ensure the timely collation, production, and analysis of relevant risk, assurance, and business continuity information and data.
- Support the Risk and Continuity Manager to develop and implement a risk and business continuity communications plan to ensure effective communication with colleagues.
- Undertake regular horizon scanning to keep up to date with changes in risk, assurance, and business continuity, and to identify opportunities to improve risk, assurance, and business continuity standards.
Requirements
- Have an excellent understanding of risk management, assurance, and business continuity methodologies, standards, and approaches.
- Excellent literacy and report writing skills.
- Excellent IT skills, including the knowledge of risk management.
- The ability to analyze, assess, and communicate risk data in a way that the organisation can understand.
- The ability to engage and motivate others.
- Be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
- Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail.
- Previous experience of working in a business risk management environment.
- Experience of working collaboratively across a diverse business to understand strategic and operational risks.
