We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Fairlie Healthcare Group. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing high-quality meal preparation and service.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the preparation of breakfast, lunch, and supper, ensuring that meals are nutritious, adequate, and varied.
- Prepare sandwiches, soup, and evening menu items, taking into account the dietary needs and cultural backgrounds of our residents.
- Take an active interest in menu planning and trial new dishes to enhance our culinary offerings.
- Assist the chef in cooking lunches as needed and maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
- Ensure that all kitchen areas are clean and well-maintained, adhering to food safety and cleaning practices.
- Full right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Assistant is preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
- Good organizational skills and effective time management.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work flexible hours to meet service needs.
