We are seeking a motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Chartwells, the leading provider of catering and support services to the education sector. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.
Key Responsibilities- Preparing food to a high standard, ensuring presentation and quality are consistently excellent
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Assisting with the loading or unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles, ensuring timely receipt of goods
- Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction
- Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all
- Demonstrate an ability to manage pressure, prioritise tasks, and communicate effectively at all levels
- Be an excellent team player, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals
- Have a committed and organised approach, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
- Have a desire to succeed in your role, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Possess the ability to work under pressure, with a flexible approach to working hours and shifts
