About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of Global Sourcing and Commodities to join our team at Pelsis Group. As a key member of our Supply Chain and Procurement department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure the highest quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability of our suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sourcing Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement commodity sourcing strategies to meet business objectives and ensure alignment with organizational goals and financial targets.
  • Supplier Management: Evaluate, select, and manage suppliers to ensure the highest quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management: Develop and manage budgets related to commodity sourcing activities and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks related to supply chain disruptions, supplier capacity, geopolitical issues, and other relevant factors.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish and deliver key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track supplier performance, cost savings, and other relevant metrics.
  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, conducting regular performance reviews and driving continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Excellent leadership and management skills through influence.
  • Competent in problem-solving, team building, planning, and decision-making.
  • Experience of working in and on Supply Chain and Quality Assurance.
  • Logistics and internal freight management.
  • Compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies.
