We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Team Manager to join our Group Protection department on a permanent basis. This is a leadership role that requires a person to lead and manage a team of Claims Specialists.
Key Responsibilities- Manage, motivate and develop employees at all levels, in a manner that is consistent with the Company's policies and procedures to maximise the performance of the area.
- Ensure the teams objectives and efforts are aligned to overall departmental goals, service level agreements and targets, pro-actively using relevant management information to monitor and respond to changes in performance levels.
- Evaluate, review and resolve issues at team level to ensure consistency of service, resource and quality across the team whilst maintaining a strong risk management and mitigation framework.
- Be responsible for the recruitment of staff within the Claims Team, ensuring the correct level of resource and the quality and competency of staff is maintained.
- Hold regular 1:1's with your team, coaching and supporting when needed.
- The individual must have people management experience.
- Experience of managing a Claims team is desirable.
- A competitive salary of up to £50,000 depending on experience.
