Contracts Manager

Our client, a leading principal contractor, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Contracts Manager to join their team due to continued growth.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of the contract process, including preparation, negotiation, and execution of contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Oversee project delivery to ensure that contractual obligations are met, projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to avoid delays or cost overruns.
- Liaise with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to maintain clear communication and ensure that expectations are aligned throughout the project life cycle.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and company requirements, including health and safety standards.
- Manage change orders, variations, and claims, ensuring that all changes are documented and agreed upon with clients.
- Lead negotiations with clients and subcontractors to resolve disputes and finalise terms.
- Work closely with the commercial and project management teams to forecast costs, track expenditures, and manage budgets.
- Provide mentorship and support to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Competitive salary: £40,000 - £50,000 PA (DOE)
