Job Summary

Abri is seeking a skilled Ground Worker to join our Responsive Repairs team. As a Ground Worker, you will be responsible for carrying out ground works, including paving, concreting, drainage, and repairs to fencing and bricklaying works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out response maintenance, void works, and planned maintenance to Abri properties as instructed by the relevant Service Manager or Area Service Manager.
  • Perform bricklaying, roofing, and general building repairs in occupied or void properties, communal areas, and garages owned or managed by Abri.
  • Provide new or replacement paving, including slabs and fencing.
  • Lay ground works with concrete or tarmac, including dropped kerbs, ramps, driveways, and paths.
  • Install new or replacement disabled adaptations as per recommendations by Abri's Occupational Therapists.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in ground works, bricklaying, and roofing.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
