Plant Operator

**CR Civil Engineering **part of the **RSK Group **are a family run business, based in the Midlands and Yorkshire, operating throughout England and Wales. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a **Plant Operator** to join our team in **Bracknell, UK.**
**The Role**:
To work within a team responsible for providing high quality civil engineering services to client. To operate company vehicles, plant and equipment on site and contribute towards the goals of the team in an efficient, cooperative and constructive manner.
**The role requires the individual to work on schemes throughout the South region along the M4 and M3 corridors.**
**Responsibilities**:
- Operate excavators in accordance with approved RAMS on water, wastewater and highways projects.
- Operate company vehicles, plant and equipment as required and in accordance with procedures.
- Complete all necessary documents and paperwork and submit in a timely manner.
- Carry out all types of ground works to the required specification, standard and timescale as directed by the Ganger/Foreman.
- Ensure all duties and performance standards comply with current health and safety procedures, plant, and PPE regulations.
- Work effectively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
**Key Requirements/Qualifications**:
- Experience of working in a team
- Experience of relevant plant and equipment
- Experience of a wide range of building related matters
- Good verbal and written skills
- Awareness of health and safety issues and duty of care towards colleagues
- Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously when necessary.
- Flexibility regarding duties and hours of work
- Willingness to undertake training and development.
**Qualifications Required**:
Mandatory
- CSCS Card
- CPCS Card
- NVQ Level 2 or 3
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- EUSR Cat 1&2
- Safety Critical Medical
- National Highways Passport
**Salary & Benefits**:
- Salary between £14.10 & £19.35 per hour depending on experience
- Company Contribution Pension
- 25 days annual leave (Ex BH)
- Regular Overtime
