Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Care Assistant to join our team at a medium-sized care home in Bolsover. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their physical and mental wellbeing, and enhancing their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily life and personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Support residents with their physical and mental wellbeing, including mobility and continence care.
  • Engage residents in activities to promote their highest quality of life, including social events, hobbies, and interests.
  • Provide company and emotional support to residents, including listening to their concerns and providing reassurance.
Requirements
  • 2 years of professional referencing, including 1 from your most recent employer.
  • In-date mandatory training certificates, including Practical Moving and Handling training.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 4 months or registered on the Update Service.
  • Minimum of 12 months paid UK work experience working within a care home or nursing home setting.
  • Full, up-to-date CV with a minimum of 5 years of employment history.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £11.44 for hours worked between 07:00 and 19:00, and £15.22 for hours worked between 19:00 and 07:00. We also offer online training at a subsidised fee, and the certificates are yours to keep.
