About the Role

Nixon Peabody LLP is seeking a highly skilled Estate Planning Attorney to join our Private Clients Practice Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing Surrogate Court filings, preparing state and federal tax returns, and developing practical planning solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Surrogate Court filings in connection with the probate of estates and settlements of trusts
  • Prepare state and federal tax returns
  • Develop and implement estate and trust administration plans
  • Partner with individuals, families, and business owners to craft their estate plans and achieve their management goals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in US estate, gift, and income tax planning, as well as familiarity with trust and estate administration. You will also need to be an expert in estate and trust administration, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
