About the Role

Nixon Peabody LLP is seeking a highly skilled Estate Planning Attorney to join our Private Clients Practice Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing Surrogate Court filings, preparing state and federal tax returns, and developing practical planning solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Surrogate Court filings in connection with the probate of estates and settlements of trusts
  • Prepare state and federal tax returns
  • Develop and implement estate and trust administration plans
  • Partner with individuals, families, and business owners to craft their estate plans
  • Implement practical planning solutions to protect clients, minimize taxes, and preserve business and wealth
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least 5 years of experience in estate and trust administration, as well as expertise in US estate, gift, and income tax planning. Familiarity with trust and estate administration is also essential.
