Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement environmental management plans, including Pollution Prevention and Surface Water Management Plans for construction sites
  • Audit construction sites for compliance with Surface Water Management Plans and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Advise clients on meeting UK regulatory requirements for Surface Water Management and associated waste permits/exemptions
  • Liaise with regulators, including the Environment Agency and National Resources Wales, to ensure compliance with environmental regulations
  • Respond to and manage environmental incidents, including fuel/oil spillage, silt discharges, and effluent discharges
  • Provide on-site training and guidance to clients on environmental issues, including ecology, contamination, and waste management
  • Develop and manage client relationships and projects

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-10 years of experience in the environmental sector
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage time and resources effectively and within budget
  • Full UK driving licence
