About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Mecca Bingo Luton as a Chef - Weekends Only. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food to our customers in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all food preparation is carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety
  • Work efficiently to minimize food wastage and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Cook and serve food in line with Mecca brand standards
  • Play a key role in the kitchen, supporting a productive and efficient working environment
  • Ensure all daily and weekly food safety checks are completed and due diligence record keeping is maintained
  • Support a culture of safety and well-being in the kitchen and back of house area

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a culinary or food preparation setting
  • Flexible in working shifts and as per business requirements
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety guidelines
