We're BDO, a leading accountancy and business advisory firm. Our Technology Risk Assurance (TRA) team is at the heart of our Audit practice, leveraging deep technical expertise to evaluate technology-related risks for businesses across various sectors.

Our Mission

We deliver audits that are trusted and transparent, providing long-term value to our clients. As a Technology Risk Assurance Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Developing IT General Controls reviews for both simple and complex audited entities
  • Keeping IT Audit Managers, Leadership team, and Audit colleagues up-to-date with status, findings, and implications from IT audit work
  • Assisting in scoping and planning data-enabled audit approaches to address audit risk effectively
  • Coordinating and supporting our regional TRA team to support current and future work pipelines
  • Contributing to the development of methodologies and guidance for internal use, as well as solutions to improve efficiency

Desired Skills

We're looking for candidates with:

  • CISA qualification or equivalent
  • Experience in IT general controls and application control reviews, including understanding control deficiencies and approaches to test risk materialisation
  • Experience supporting external audits for companies in the financial services sector
  • Experience auditing ERP packages such as SAP, Oracle, and Dynamics AX
