About the Role:

This exciting opportunity is available at University College Birmingham, where we are seeking a skilled lecturer in patisserie to join our faculty of hospitality and culinary arts. As a lecturer in patisserie, you will have the chance to contribute to the delivery of high-quality education and training, working closely with students, industry partners, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver innovative and engaging teaching and learning experiences
  2. Develop and deliver curricula that meet the needs of students, industry partners, and stakeholders
  3. Contribute to the promotion of the department's research output
  4. Engage with external partners to enhance the reputation of University College Birmingham

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, applicants should possess a relevant honors degree or equivalent qualification, together with significant experience in teaching and assessing students at FE level. A postgraduate qualification would be advantageous, as would membership of a relevant professional body.

Our salary range for this position is £34,866 - £42,632 per annum AC2, which includes annual leave and bank holidays. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including access to a defined benefit pension scheme and opportunities for professional development.
