Third Party Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Third Party Risk Specialist to join our Third Party Management team at our Leeds head office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that supplier-related risks are managed effectively to drive value and continuity through the relationship lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Support category management colleagues and business owners with third-party risk management activities, including materiality assessment and conducting due diligence.
- Lead assurance activities and be responsible for regulatory reporting, working closely with the Society's Risk function.
- Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks associated with third-party suppliers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that risk management practices are aligned with business objectives.
- Clear understanding of risks inherent to working with third-party suppliers, with experience of assessing risk and conducting supplier due diligence.
- Experience working in a regulated environment with a good understanding of BOE, FCA, and PRA requirements. Financial services experience would be an advantage.
- Initiative to drive value through supplier relationships by appropriate risk management using innovative and creative solutions.
- Strong cross-functional working skills and a pragmatic approach to meeting Society needs.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
