About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Third Party Risk Management Specialist to join our Third Party Management team at our Leeds head office.

As a Third Party Risk Management Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that supplier-related risks are managed appropriately to drive value and continuity through the relationship lifecycle.

This includes supporting category management colleagues and business owners with third-party risk management-related activities, such as materiality assessment and conducting due diligence.

You will also lead assurance activities and be responsible for regulatory reporting, working closely with the Society's Risk function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage supplier-related risks to drive value and continuity through the relationship lifecycle.
  • Support category management colleagues and business owners with third-party risk management-related activities.
  • Conduct due diligence and materiality assessments to ensure supplier-related risks are appropriately managed.
  • Lead assurance activities and be responsible for regulatory reporting.
Requirements
  • Clear understanding of risks inherent to working with third-party suppliers.
  • Experience of assessing risk and conducting supplier due diligence.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment with a good understanding of BOE, FCA, and PRA requirements.
  • Initiative to drive value through supplier relationships by appropriate risk management using innovative and creative solutions.
  • Strong cross-functional working skills and a pragmatic approach to meeting Society needs.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
