Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) professional to join our team at Seismic Recruitment. As an EHS Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the manager in the design, implementation, and maintenance of EHS programs and associated policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections and tests to monitor specific EHS issues, regulations, and company practices.
  • Assist in training employees on EHS guidelines, company policies, and procedures, and regulations pertaining to EHS.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date EHS records according to established guidelines.
  • Contribute to the development of EHS policies and procedures.
  • Support site-wide general learning and development activities.
  • Support the EHS management with any occupational health requirements.
  • Support site CSR and sustainability requirements.

Requirements

  • High-level working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • 1-2 years' experience in an EHS role.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent is the minimum required certification.
  • Member of IOSH is desirable.
  • Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Policy Compliance with knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies.
  • Desirable skills include PPE, COSHH, Risk Assessments, PUWER, Legal Requirements, Training, Waste Management, Sustainability, Contractor management, Cranes and lifting devices, Incident management, MHE, LOTO, and high-risk activity e.g. working at height.
