Real Estate Tax Assistant Manager/Manager

A top 10 Accountancy Practice in central London is seeking a Real Estate Tax Assistant Manager/Manager to join their growing Real Estate Tax team. As a key member of the team, you will provide compliance and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of property clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage compliance portfolios and assist directors and partners in managing their work.
  • Work closely with juniors to ensure high-quality standards are maintained.
  • Deliver complex tax advisory projects and compliance assignments.
  • Complete technical research for complex assignments.
  • Assist with tax structuring and due diligence for real estate M&A activity.
  • Manage international tax assignments and collaborate with the CLA Global network.
  • Seek opportunities to cross-sell other services to existing clients.
  • Coordinate the delivery of specialist tax advisory work.
  • Develop junior staff and assist them with their requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance and risk management procedures.
  • Provide exceptional client service and manage client relationships.
Requirements:
  • ACA/ACCA/CA or CTA qualification.
  • Strong awareness of specialist taxes and their application in the real estate sector.
  • Excellent project management skills, including cross-border work.
  • Commercial awareness to add value to clients.
  • Effective communication to provide transparency and structure to the team.
  • UK corporate tax experience within the profession and/or industry.
