We are seeking a qualified KS2 teacher to join our team at Protocol Education. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child development and learning theories, excellent classroom management skills, and effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 2 students
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and student support
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student progress


Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2 students
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum


Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field



Experience:

Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting



Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of child development and learning theories
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)


Working Conditions:

  • Work primarily in a classroom setting
  • Regular interaction with students, parents, and school staff
  • Full-time hours with occasional extra-curricular activities or events

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
