About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Building/Fabric Project Manager to join our team at OCS UK & Ireland. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for managing site teams to deliver multi-discipline projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standard.

You will work closely with clients, operations teams, and support functions to ensure that each project is delivered in accordance with the project plan. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring projects are delivered to the correct specifications and quality standards.
  • Delivering design and build projects in liaison with internal and external design consultants.
  • Leading and motivating site teams to achieve project goals.
  • Ensuring all employees have the necessary training and qualifications to fulfill their roles.
  • Managing absence and performance issues in accordance with company policies.
  • Establishing and implementing meeting structures for each project.
  • Working closely with operations managers, quantity surveyors, design teams, and procurement teams to develop project plans.
  • Driving a high standard of safety, health, sustainability, and quality within your sphere of control.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of managing multi-discipline projects.
  • Relevant technical qualifications, such as a Board of Trade Certificate of Competency.
  • PC literacy with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Completion of a 5-day Site Managers Safety course.
  • A valid CSCS card.
  • Experience of commercial management and reporting on WIP.
  • A full driving license.
  • HNC Construction/Project Management or PRINCE 2 qualification.
  • CDM Awareness.
  • Experience of the Pre-Construction RIBA Stages.
  • Experience with Microsoft Sharepoint, Dynamics, and Project.
  • Effective managerial skills, including the ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Client-focused, professional with the requisite skills to establish and maintain relationships.
  • A self-motivated individual who can work independently and achieve stretching targets.
  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a pressurized environment.
  • A team player.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Deadline-driven.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
