About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Nurse Specialist to join our Hepatology Team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert nursing care to patients with chronic liver conditions, working closely with colleagues across the Trust and community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients with chronic liver conditions in both hospital and community settings.
  • Work independently and without direct supervision, prioritizing workload in a variety of clinical settings to meet the fluctuating demands of this role.
  • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary Hepatology Team to provide nursing expertise related to liver disease.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in hepatology nursing.
Requirements
  • Experience in the management and care of patients with liver disease.
  • Passion for improving Hepatology care for patients.
  • Self-motivating, enthusiastic, organized, and computer literate.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to continued personal development.
