Job Title: Live Request Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Live Request Coordinator to join our team at NBCUniversal. As a key member of our newsgathering team, you will play a crucial role in coordinating live requests for correspondents across our platforms, including MSNBC, News Channel, and News Now.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with show producers, field teams, and multiple control rooms in New York and London to manage live requests.
  • Work closely with senior desk editors and field teams to ensure the live needs of our outlets are met across multiple time zones.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date live request logs.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding live news environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills and professional conduct, especially in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong news judgment and knowledge of current events.
  • Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure.
