Ottoman Hands is a pioneering sustainable fashion jewellery brand that combines Eastern and Western design to create unique, handcrafted pieces. Founded in 2010 on London's Portobello Road, the brand has grown organically and become a favourite among celebrities, featured in prominent shows such as Emily in Paris, Game of Thrones, and Sex Education. Our small team is now based on East London's Whitechapel Road, where we design and craft our jewellery in small batches, sourced from our Istanbul workshop.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated Account Manager to join our team and help us expand our wholesale business during this exciting period of global growth. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships and developing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and cultivate new accounts and market areas for growth
- Create focused seasonal and annual sales action plans
- Organise and lead all buying meetings
- Manage agents to ensure targets are met, orders and deliveries are organised, samples are sent, and commissions are authorised
- Work with suppliers to meet customer deadlines and manage critical paths and communications
- Develop and execute individual business plans to maximise brand growth and development
- Proven experience in client service and sales strategies
- Strong contacts in the UK and international fashion and jewellery markets
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven; adaptable with the ability to make an immediate impact
- Confident, organised, and dynamic with strong initiative
- Ability to thrive in a small business culture
- Capability to identify gaps for continuous improvement and contribute to meeting revenue targets
- Knowledge of stock management software is essential; familiarity with G Suite, Asana, and Slack is beneficial
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
